Ali Zeeshan, a 30 year old patient from Shah Faisal Town, Karachi, is an only son, having three sisters. Zeeshan was a very energetic patient when he came to ADC, despite his numerous problems including body pain, low weight, and no improvement in his health. Also, due to this, he wasn’t able to regularly go to work, and this was taking a toll on his personality as well. However, after his treatment and therapy sessions in our center, he was able to rejoin his job, as well as getting engaged and is to be married soon.
Ms. Shehnaz Banu was a 58 year old patient from Karachi. Due to her health complexities and kidney failure, she was repeatedly being admitted to different hospitals. Initially, she was being taken care of by her son and daughter-in-law. When they came to ADC, she formerly used to come with them, as she was unable to come alone. However, after a while, she regained her health and was able to attend her ialysis sessions alone, which also boosted her confidence and morale. Her admittance to hospitals stopped as well after she was diagnosed and treated in our center.
Madameen was one of our younger patients, belonging to FATA, Waziristan. His family couldn’t afford the transplantation and dialysis expenses, and so his community members looked for a free of cost center where he could get a good treatment, and heard of ADC. He is currently being treated in our center until his family can save money for his transplantation surgery. His health has comparatively improved due to our treatment procedures. He also said that if ADC wants to establish a center in his hometown, he will, along with his community, support us fully to acquire resources to set up there.
Tahir was a 45 year old patient from Landhi, Karachi. Being the sole earner in his family, he was extremely dejected when he was diagnosed with kidney failure and due to this he lost his job as well. He started a dialysis treatment from another center where he was given a 2-3 hour dialysis plan. However, upon hearing about ADC, he visited us and was recommended a 4 hour dialysis, which he opted for. Treatment from our center has improved his health vastly and his better health conditions enabled him to reclaim his job from where he was fired previously due to his illness.
An 83 year old patient from Othal, Balochistan, Abdul Jalil was unable to find a free, and quality assured dialysis center in his hometown, and due to financial constraints he couldn’t afford his treatment. He was admitted to Anklesaria hospital in Karachi and started receiving dialysis thrice a week, which vastly improved his health. He quotes, “My life was hell, but now I am confident that I am getting better day by day with the support of Almighty Allah and ADC trustees, as well as their medical team. May Allah bless them.”
